Here is a dramatic and stimulating presentation, perfect for use in Sunday school classrooms, youth groups, church camps, retreats, home schooling, and sermons, making exploring the Bible an unforgettable experience. In this object lesson, a yellow solution named “Goldie” is perfect, but once she commits a single sin she turns black and is sentenced to eternal death. But a savior has come with the power to turn water into wine (clear solution becomes red), to shed his blood for our salvation. His sacrifice cleaned the world of sin, so now when Goldie (now black with sin) decides to accept Jesus and accept the blood of Christ (red solution) it rinses her sins away and she becomes perfectly clear (black and red solutions combine to become clear). Information on how to perform this object lesson, including a simple lesson plan, a brief summary, questions to be addressed, relevant scripture, a list of materials required, preparation directions, and presentation suggestions are available at www.madaboutjesus.net/nothinggoldcanstay.html. Additional object lessons are also available. Check out WWW.MADABOUTJESUS.NET

I get lectured for setting a bottle of wine down on it’s edge, and letting it go, and having it break on the floor. That happened while at the store, but once Ashley heard about it, she was ready to handle business and teach me a lesson.

LOOKING FOR LOVE
by Tom Jensen
full lyrics
(more)

LOOKING FOR LOVE
IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES

I’ve been looking for love
In all the wrong places
Disregarding hearts of gold
For pretty faces

By the wicked I get scorned
Left broken, bleeding and torn
One morning without warning
I get served, kicked to the curb
Still my fate may be deserved

I need to teach my eyes
To look deep down inside
And not be hypnotized
By a wolf in sheep’s disguise
So it comes as no surprise
I get kicked on to the curb

I’ve been looking for love
In all the wrong places
Disregarding hearts of gold
For pretty faces

I’ve been stabbed by a smile
And I blabbed like a child
Grabbed and thrown into the pile
Then tabbed, labeled and filed

As a reader by the cover
With the truth never to be discovered
Never knowing where true love hides
And that the best is kept inside
So I kick it to the curb

I’ve been looking for love
In all the wrong places
Disregarding hearts of gold
For pretty faces

The body is only
Transportation for the soul
While the heart is like fine wine
It is only faces that grow old

Too many evils
That makeup can conceal
Got to dig down a little deeper
If you want to see what’s real

I’ve been looking for love
In all the wrong places
Disregarding hearts of gold
For pretty faces
