it is a creamy potato soup and i wanted to know if the ingredient sherry wine flavor really is from alcohol. thanks for your answer
If it says flavor, then that's all it is. It must list the ingredients on the can (package).
I like organic wines but am wondering if anyone can recommend any good reds - cabernet or shiraz - or even merlot under $25. Looking for a change and welcome any suggestions. Thanks.
Shiraz / Syrah wines are the route that you want to take.
Rosemont Shiraz is good.

The kid from How Can She Slap is back. Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermentation of grape juice. The natural chemical balance of grapes is such that they can ferment without the addition of sugars, acids, enzymes or other nutrients. Wine is produced by fermenting crushed grapes using various types of yeast which consume the sugars found in the grapes and convert them into alcohol. Different varieties of grapes and strains of yeasts are used depending on the types of wine being produced. Wine is a popular and important beverage that accompanies and enhances a wide range of European and Mediterranean-style cuisines, from the simple and traditional to the most sophisticated and complex. Wine is important in cuisine not just for its value as a beverage, but as a flavor agent, primarily in stocks and braising, since its acidity lends balance to rich savory or sweet dishes. Red, white and sparkling wines are the most popular, and are known as light wines because they are only 1014% alcohol-content by volume. Apéritif and dessert wines contain 1420% alcohol, and are sometimes fortified to make them richer and sweeter.
Some wine labels suggest opening the bottle and letting the wine “breathe” for a couple hours before serving, while others recommend drinking it immediately. Decanting—the act of pouring a wine into a special container just for breathing—is a controversial subject in wine. In addition to aeration, decanting with a filter allows one to remove bitter sediments that may have formed in the wine. Sediment is more common in older bottles but younger wines usually benefit more from aeration.[43]
During aeration, the exposure of younger wines to air often “relaxes” the flavors and makes them taste smoother and better integrated in aroma, texture, and flavor. Older wines generally fade, or lose their character and flavor intensity, with extended aeration.[44] Despite these general rules, breathing does not necessarily benefit all wines. Wine should be tasted as soon as it is opened to determine how long it should be aerated, if at all.

Plus im adding two types of curds, cranberry and blood orange. What type of wine or liquor would help bring out these flavors?

“Tell Me What We’re Gonna Do Now”
(feat. Common)
Yes, we have arrived
Joss Stone
Uh huh
It’s for the world world world world
Uh
[VERSE]
You don’t have to make your mind up
I just wanna take my time with you
yeah
If that’s alright, it’s alright
Oh forgive me if I get too shy but
maybe you’re the reason why, love
I’m feelin’ butterflies
Somethin’ bout the look in your eyes
Oooh it just makes me feel so right
[CHORUS]
When my mind’s void
You’re my joy
You’re the dream when I sleep
And hey I’m for ya yeah I adore ya
you’re everything
That I need
And I love how you love me
If I’m made for you
you’re made for me
It’s too good to be
So tell me what we’re gonna do now
Yeah tell me what we’re gonna do now
yeah yeah
[VERSE]
Funny how my world keeps spinnin’
sometimes you can be so silly
You know just how to make me laugh
Ooh, your skin is so lovely
It moves me when you touch me
I know that you got my back
It feels so safe when you hold me
It’s already like you know me
When my mind’s void
You’re my joy
You’re the dream when I sleep
And hey I’m for ya yeah I adore ya
you’re everything that I need
I love how you love me
If I’m made for you
you’re made for me
It’s too good to be true
So tell me what we’re gonna do now
[BRIDGE]
Oh right now
See baby I love how you make me smile
Don’t leave please stay awhile
Let’s make this happen
I don’t care how
[Common]
Right now lets stay in the present
Can’t worry bout tomorrow cause today is a blessin
The world in a state of aggression
I find calm in you
I see my mom in you
It’s like a feelin’ in ya stomach
when you want it so bad
If we keep keeping it fresh
it ain’t gonna go bad
I’ve been through the valley of love
Rode through the shores of Cali
just to find peace of mind
Looking to the sky
asking for at least a sign
Beautiful you came at such a decent time
When we combine it’s like good food and wine
Flavorful yet refined
You remind me of the divine
So easy
Love can be lost and then found, like Stevie
I just love having you around
you wearing the gown
I’m wearing the crown
pound for pound
we the freshest couple in town
[CHORUS]
When my mind’s void
You’re my joy
You’re my dream
And hey I’m for ya yeah I adore ya
you’re everything
And I love how you love me baby
I’m made for you oh
you’re made for me
Ooh tell me what we’re gonna do
Tell me what we’re gonna do
Tell me what we’re gonna do
Tell me what we’re gonna do

The menu for The Restaurant has been designed to showcase Napa Valley wines through Napa Valley cuisine, which is based on the innate goodness of regional ingredients. The dishes are flavorful, fresh and healthy, offering intensity of flavor without heaviness. The menu offers prix fixe and a la carte selections and wine pairings are available for each course.
The Restaurant also offers a nightly seven-course Chef’s Menu along with artisan cheeses and desserts. The Restaurant’s exceptional wine list allows for wine pairings that truly complement the menu. Chef Christopher Kostow employs well-grounded, classic techniques to the ingredients, but it is the ingredients that give Napa Valley cuisine its character. Whereas a winemaker looks for ripeness in the vineyard in order to express the sense of place, Chef Kostow looks for foods that are expressions of the place and exhibit a sense of balance both in each dish and in it’s relationship to wine.
With a wine list of 950 wines, Meadowood sommelier Rom Toulon finds it intriguing to pair wines which heighten the flavor of the food.
